Telstar 12 satellite success at OmniAccess

Telesat, the global fixed satellite services operator, has announced that OmniAccess has renewed its contract for additional Ku-band capacity on Telesat’s Telstar 12 satellite.
 
Located at 15 degrees West, Telstar 12 is a solution for customers seeking connectivity between the Europe-Middle East region and the United States. It is a logical pairing for Europe and Mediterranean focused VSAT service providers like OmniAccess, a longstanding Telesat customer. OmniAccess serves superyachts and other vessels in the Mediterranean and European waterways, as well as the Caribbean and America.

“OmniAccess’s decision to choose Telstar 12 again confirms that Telesat satellites, whether over the Atlantic or Europe and Middle East region, are highly effective at delivering the latest in mobile broadband solutions,” said said Nigel Gibson Vice President, international sales for Telesat.
