Innerspace Productions, the design and fabrication company that released the shark inspired Seabreacher X last year, has just announced a new addition to their portfolio, Seabreacher Y, or the killer whale.

The Seabreacher Y is close in scale to an actual killer whale and has taken a lead from the whale’s own shape for improved maneuverability, including a more rounded-off nose, large whale tail, new pectoral fins and a taller dorsal fin. The increased size of the tail was engineered to give the Seabreacher Y the ability to perform 180° back flips.

The killer whale model combines the most useful aspects of the previous models from Innerspace, including a 255hp (190kW) supercharged engine found on the X model and the panoramic bubble canopy that is found on the J model, which is based on the form of the dolphin. Crucially, the model can be modified as per an owner’s request: the model pictured was given an engine upgrade for a customer in Abu Dhabi and was equipped with a 300hp (224kW) engine to give it the ability to reach speeds of up to 48 knots on the water’s surface.
