Yacht Solutions secure new superyacht refit facility in Bangkok

Yacht Solutions in Phuket, Thailand, has secured a new superyacht refit facility in Bangkok to meet the growing demand for refit facilities in south-east Asia.

Able to cater for superyachts of up to 200m in length, Yacht Solutions Bangkok features a haul-out for a maximum length of 85m and 1500 tonnes, two 115m dry docks alongside berthing, two floating docks up to 160m and a 3000 tonnes lift capacity.


“We have been in the marine refit and repair business in Thailand for 10 years and this seems the natural progression for our business,” commented Gareth Twist, managing director of Yacht Solutions. “The superyacht industry in Asia is growing and recent trends show that there has been a year on year increase in the number of superyachts either in the region or transiting through the region and we are very keen to attract those vessels to our facility in Thailand for planned or emergency refits, repairs or conversion work.”

The facility is one hour away from Bangkok International airport.
