World Fuel Services acquires YCO Group's Yacht Fuel Services business

YCO Group has announced the sale of its Yacht Fuel Services (YFS) business in an agreement with World Fuel Services Europe Ltd.

YFS was established over 20 years ago and provides customers with premium grade yacht fuel, aviation fuel and lubricants, especially in more remotes cruising areas of the world.

World Fuel Services will keep the YFS brand and staff and will have the added advantage of online purchasing via World Fuel’s Bunkerline web-based procurement system.

The sale of YFS forms a part of YCO Group’s strategy to focus on and invest in development of its core services of superyacht brokerage and management. Net proceeds of the sale will be used for working capital purposes to expand operations globally and to further enhance YCO’s offering in these areas.
