SOS Yachting has announced the establishment of SOS Yachting Croatia, which will focus on providing owners and their teams with VAT advice and support for operation within Croatian waters.
The Croatian office joins existing operations in Italy, France and Spain as CEO, Alex Mazzoni explained: “We are delighted with our progress to date. We always had long term plans for growth, but in 2014 we have exceeded expectations. We have doubled in size and are now present in four EU countries and our revenues are increasing at a similar pace”.
The establishment of the SOS Croatia office will be of welcome news to captains and managers whose owners have requested trips to Croatia. Since its accession to the EU in 2013 it has had to embrace a new fiscal regime, and its impact on yachting will only now be felt.
Operations manager, Sanja Dujmic will head the operation, which the SOS team was keen to have operational in time for the all-important European summer season. “Our challenge is to ensure that wherever our clients wish to charter, they can do so with the knowledge that we are providing them with accurate and timely solutions and ensuring that their vacation is stress free”, Mazzoni added. “All our offices we are available 24/7 during the season”.
