Sailmon appoints Eurotask Ltd as UK distributor

Sailmon GmbH, designer and manufacturer of electronic solutions for superyachts, has appointed Eurotask Ltd as its UK distributor.

“Strategically, the UK is an important market for us, and so the appointment of Eurotask is a significant step in our development plans, and we are looking forward to working with Eurotask and Mark Luffingham to help achieve our goals over the coming months and years,” said Chief Executive Officer of Sailmon GmbH, Gernot Turner.

“Our products are well proven and we have great feedback from many owners and captains of the high profile yachts using Sailmon products today,” added Turner. “We are now ready to expand our market and the appointment of Eurotask is the first of a number of new distributors that will be announced soon.”

Sailmon’s range of products includes the IP67 (the waterproof build standard) bright sunlight readable Sailmon MM104 mast or cockpit mounted instruments. With the capability to display in colour characters up to 140mm high, all the monitors are WiFi enabled, integrated with Sailmon’s advanced calibration system, which is capable of calculating all 3D interpolators with an update rate of 100Hz.





Also included in Sailmon’s range of products is the SBox WiFi wireless data transfer unit. The unit supports all common interfaces, including NMEA2000 for SimNet and SeaTalk NG, Raymarine SeaTalk, B&G H2000 and H3000, as well as having 2 NMEA0183 inputs. Any NMEA2000 compatible instrument bus can be directly connected to the SBox, whose data is sent over wireless LAN to the mast readouts for data processing.

In addition to the hardware, Sailmon’s suite of software includes the 3D calibration package.
