SuperyachtNews launches a special competition as part of its MYS 2019 campaign, ushering in the next generation of news reportage…

As part of our 2019 show season campaign, and in order to celebrate The Superyacht Group’s ongoing commitment to being the market’s most objective, accurate and informative provider of independent journalism, we are launching a special SuperyachtNews competition that will run up to and throughout Monaco Yacht Show 2019 (MYS).

From today, as the Official Media Partner of Monaco yacht Show, we are challenging our industry peers to provide us with the most powerful exclusive news story. Many major quality news organisations across the world have launched crowd-sourced news generation strategies and we believe it is the future of superyacht market news generation too.

Starting from today, and running until the horns sound on the final day of MYS, you can contact the SuperyachtNews editorial team, under complete guarantee of anonymity, at exclusive@thesuperyachtgroup.com and submit your most profound leads and insights for a chance to win a MacBook. In addition, if your lead is picked up by the SuperyachtNews team, you will be automatically eligible for a complimentary subscription to The Superyacht Report and the soon-to-be-announced developments on SuperyachtNews.

"Monaco...is a hot-bed of market output"

Anyone who has attended MYS knows that, as well as being the shop window for the 30m-plus market, it is a hot-bed of market output, much of which is not encompassed by the carefully-rehearsed parade of press conferences.

As well as the launch of exclusive@thesuperyachtgroup.com, the team will also be starting an ongoing crowd-sourced WhatsApp group to generate industry leads and discuss the finer points of the market. This is a voluntary group, and will continue ad infinitum. It is a chance for engaged individuals to share ideas and discussion points within a safe, and embargoed space. We are looking for active industry stakeholders, not passive observers, to join what we believe will be the future of new lead generation. Chatham House Rules will apply.

"We are looking for active industry stakeholders, not passive observers..."

Both these campaigns represent the next generation of news journalism, wherein the market should feel confident about its ability to share legitimate insight without worrying about the risk of personal attribution. And on this basis, of course, our team will rigorously verify and affirm any information we receive.

SuperyactNews will be in attendance at MYS as the official Media Partner and we look forward to engaging with you, the industry, to ensure reportage of what happens in the coming months is relevant, accurate, and above all else, of supreme integrity.

People say there are too many events in the calendar – we say there are not enough quality customer experiences. From experiential pop-ups and curated think tanks to exclusive VIP dinners and large scale conferences, we create incredible experiences based on strategic intelligence. We can put your brand on the map at key industry events with bespoke events that deliver value, customer engagement, and loyalty - Click here if you would like to find out more.
