With June just around the corner, SuperyachtDesign is pleased to announce our summer issue, Q11, which promises to deliver new and fresh design ideas from some of the best design studios around the world. We hear from Owen Clarke Design, Ceruqua, IP.YD, Dawid Dawod, Vandermark, and present a special concept column on Reymond Langton Design’ new 63-metre SWATH design for Abeking &amp Rasmussen.

In Q10, we delivered two new feature columns to inform and inspire and with the arrival of Q11, we bring another new column entitled Mood Board. This section explores the design development of interior products, starting in this issue with a look at luxury carpets.
&nbsp
We meet with Nick Candy of Candy &amp Candy for our second Domus Design feature, and hear how the Candy brothers built up their property empire and injected residential experience into Candyscape II. Our In Business column talks to one of the three directors at Vedder Finest Interior, Ludger Dohm, and reveals the corporate philosophy behind the company.
&nbsp
Focal Point dives into the world of mast design, as we take a look at the considerations behind the design and placement of the mast and antennas with Derik Wagner of MTN Satellite Communications. We pay a visit to Rhoades Young Design as part of our Case Study and hear how styling is just a small part of what the studio delivers. While in the same geographical area, we speak to David Lewis of Laurent Giles Superyacht Architecture on the evolving role of the naval architect in Perspectives.

Q11 moves on to the intricate art of silversmithing at the workshop of Georg Jensen in Copenhagen in the company of Nina Vibe-Petersen for Artisan. We review Maison et Objets and present our Six of the Best from the Paris show, and provide an overview of our own Summit event, with guest speakers Andrew Winch, Tim Heywood and Terence Disdale.

The issue also features a Rapid Fire Q&A interview with John Dane III of Trinity Yachts, as well as insightful and inspiring columns in Guest Suite from Richard Liebowitz at LP Design UK, Lea Badro and Franç de Peyronnet. In Design Debate, we discover who is best placed to manage a design team.
