Global Yachting Group acquires Jotun's expertise in distribution deal

Jotun has announced that Global Yachting Group’s (GYG) distribution company, Pinmar Supply, has been appointed Jotun distributor for Spain and other international territories.
This new agreement between distributor Pinmar Supply and Norwegian coating manufacturer Jotun will provide the superyacht with a full yacht painting service. “Pinmar Supply is very pleased to have been appointed international distributors of Jotun’s megayacht products,” said Rupert Savage, managing director of Pinmar Supply and GYG. “We have been working with Jotun for some years now, through various group companies, and have experienced excellent results and technical support.”
Alongside supplying coatings, Jotun also offer full technical support from its team of highly trained coating advisors, during every stage of the painting process. “This new partnership will allow our company to develop even further in the international superyacht market, and we will work together forging a new chapter in yacht painting,” said Christian Espolin Johnson, Jotun Ibérica’s general manager.
GYG, which also includes Rolling Stock, was formed by the shareholders of Pinmar and Rolling Stock in 2012 to provide services to new build, refit and supply related projects across the two companies’ combined network. “The Group’s standards are very high and we only want to work with the leading brands in the market: Jotun provides long experience of the marine coating market with an unbeatable assortment of high quality, high performance and environmentally compliant products”, said Pinmar’s CEO and GYG chairman Remy Millott regarding GYG’s ethos and the new partnership with Jotun.
Pinmar and Rolling Stock are already working with Jotun on two 100m+ new build projects and several refits.
