National Marine Suppliers (NMS) is to open a new store in Fort Lauderdale on the city’s waterfront, in order to provide quicker and more convenient access for its client base. Located at The Bahia Mar; 801 Seabreeze Blvd, it is only minutes away from several marinas.
“In Fort Lauderdale it can take you 45 minutes during the season to get to the closest marine supply store with the traffic and the bridge. We are now accessible in minutes from nine superyacht marinas by land or water,” explained Tom Rowe, director of business development at NMS.
The new shop compliments the company’s existing facility in the city centre, stocking ‘everything a yacht may need’ including cleaners, paint and uniforms and shoes, but ordering in anything from the main store quickly if the desired product is not found.
NMS’ new store opens on 2 September to prepare for Fort Lauderdale boat show and the charter season. “We will have many events tied into the store in October, especially during the boat show,” said Rowe.
