Jorge Ventosa Gari passed away peacefully on 28th September after a serious illness…

Marina Barcelona 92 has regretfully communicated the death of its founder and president Jorge Ventosa Gari, who passed away peacefully on 28th September after a serious illness.

Ventosa founded the company in 1991 and his foresight, dedication and determination to achieve excellence have been essential to ultimately positioning MB92 as a global leader within the superyacht refit sector.

“We will always remember him for his extraordinary personality, kind nature, hardworking disposition and strong leadership as he guided us along this ever-complex path," says Pepe Garcia-Aubert, CEO of MB92. "Personally it has been a great privilege to be at his side these last 24 years."

Jorge Ventosa Gari is survived by his wife and four children.
