Italy-based ISA has announced the sale of three new build models, one of which is to a repeat client. The 41-metre
Classic, the 54-metre Project Panorama and the 66-metre Granturismo, were all sold between the middle of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
Both the Classic and Granturismo were designed by Andrea Vallicelli, but this is where the similarities end. The 41-metre was developed from a 39-metre platform and is based on three fundamental elements – the visual presentation of the stern, an aggressive looking bow and the smooth connection between the main and upper deck. The modern design and spacious layout – which can accommodate up to 10 guests and achieve a maximum speed of 14 knots – caught the eye of a previous client. “Our customers are very loyal, which means that the orders we have for new yachts come in the form of repeat business from existing customers or brokers, and this is something that we would like to continue,” admits partner and co-founder of ISA, Marcello Maggi. Delivery of the yacht is expected in early summer 2013.
The 66-metre Granturismo is not only the largest model in the Granturismo (GT) range but also the largest superyacht the shipyard has ever been commissioned to build. “Developed from the 65-metre GT platform, this full displacement custom yacht is the first model of the newly launched GT range,” says Maggi. The four-deck, aluminium and steel structure, boats a contrast between the curvaceous lines of the decks and the diamond-like geometry of the transom and sundeck. Among the various interior features are five cabins along with a master suite, accommodating for a total of 12 guests. Two CAT engines will achieve a maximum of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots. Delivery is expected in summer 2014.
The third and final design is Panorama, a five-deck displacement yacht by Horacio Bozzo of Axis Group Yacht Design, which is also due for delivery in summer 2014. The interior design by Studio Massari includes a large dining area with a bar and a salon with floor to ceiling windows, forward on the main deck. An additional dining table and bar has been included on the flybridge, which features a pool and sun bathing/relaxation area. Aft of the main deck is the main salon with full height doors that open out onto exterior bulwarks that fold out to offer more deck space. The owner’s deck features a private balcony forward, which is accessed directly from the master suite, a large aft deck terrace and an office.
A central glass elevator connects all the levels and is at the core of a spiral staircase. A large and foldable stern and side platforms extend out to create a spacious beach club, making it easy to enjoy the sea and to board tenders and toys. The tender garage on the main deck houses an 8.3-metre Riva Iseo and a 5.5-metre crew tender. The smaller water toys such as jet skis and a rescue boat are located on the foredeck.
