Investing in the future of the Balearics

An on-going research project will inform a long-term investment strategy for the superyacht hub…

With increasingly accessible cruising and growing refit and berthing infrastructure, the Balearics Islands have been firmly established as a year-round superyacht destination. In order to develop a long-term investment strategy for the region’s superyacht proposition, The Superyacht Agency, in collaboration with the Balearic Marine Cluster, is undertaking an on-going research project.

As part of the project, The Superyacht Agency is asking industry stakeholders to undertake an online survey in which they can express candid opinions about the region’s current superyacht offering. The survey aims to engage with all areas of the market and invites you to share your insight, whether you have first-hand experience of the Balearics or not.

Any insight will be used anonymously to develop a long-term investment strategy for superyacht cruising, berthing and servicing within the Balearics. The results of the survey will also be used to inform the programme of The Balearic Superyacht Forum, an exclusive event for captains, senior crew, project managers, yacht managers and owner’s representatives, to be held prior to the Palma Superyacht Show on 28 and 29 April, 2020.

With your input, the event will explore how the Balearics can invest, upgrade and adapt its infrastructure and service proposition for the future. If you would like to attend as a guest of the Balearic Marine Cluster, please complete the final section of the survey.

As a gesture of thanks, those that undertake the survey can be entered into a prize draw to win a short stay and dinner at the five-star Cap Rocat Hotel in Mallorca, and will also be eligible to receive a complimentary subscription to The Superyacht Report.
