Interior Yacht Services partnership offers access to Russian UHNWIs

Interior Yacht Services (IYS) has announced a strategic partnership with Russian-based provider of residential services, Bogarts Butlers. The partnership will open up both IYS’ and Bogarts’ networks of clients to their respective partner.

Peter Vogel, managing director of IYS, told SuperyachtNews.com that working with Maarten Bogaerts, who runs Bogart’s Butlers, offered IYS the opportunity to enter the Russian market, which is notoriously difficult for foreign businesses to make an impact in, with its holistic superyacht service provision.

“We have formed a partnership through which we cross-promote our activities, building our market shares by being able to offer our clients the same service on land as they get at sea [and vice versa].”

The service that IYS offers is completely scalable, providing domestic crew training and consultancy services from the initial design stage right through to the operation of the operation of a superyacht. Vogel says that this partnership allows IYS to expand its offering beyond superyachts to include all of the ‘residential’ assets that a client owns, including jets, villas and city apartments.

Clients can request as little or as much of IYS’ expertise as they require and, whilst the company’s primary targets are owners’ reps and captains, Vogel works closely with his clients at Dutch shipyards such as Oceanco, Amels and Feadship, and yacht managers such as Y.CO, Fraser Yachts and Imperial Yachts.

With regards the Bogart’s partnership, “this gentleman is based in St Petersburg, with close ties to Moscow”, says Vogel. “He is able to tap into a massive network, which has opened up doors for us, so we’re very happy with [the partnership].”
