ICON Yachts has signed its largest contract so far at the shipyard, an 80m+ project with an experienced yachtsman and with Tim Heywood completing the exterior design. Tim Heywood recently completed Feadship's 101.5m exterior.

Jen Wartena, CEO at ICON yachts said, “This project will be the largest yacht to date that ICON Yachts has built. We are excited to have been rewarded with the construction of this project with such fantastic pedigree.”

The yacht will feature a helicopter-pad on the foredeck, a full owners deck with a suite that has a 280 degree view on the forward upper deck. A central stern garage will accommodate a large limousine tender and iconic beach club with a large bathing platform. An eight-metre pool with a glass bottom will flood the tender bay that can also function as an internal seawater pool. The yacht also will have a top speed of 17knots with a diesel electric propulsion set up.

She is scheduled for completion in summer 2017. ICON Yachts could not release any further information at this time.
