Horizon announces new P136 series
Following the successful reception of its P130 series, Horizon Group has revealed its P136 model. The new series, created by the group’s in-house design team, is based on the P130 platform.…
“Horizon has a lot of experience in manufacturing large FRP hulls, building to classes and regulations, and communicating with clients on comprehensive projects,” says Horizon’s CEO, John Lu. “We are extremely comfortable with the design and pedigree behind the new Horizon P136, and we are confident she will be well received in the global yacht market.”
The P136 series will be the largest FRP hull to come from the shipyard, with a beam of 8.5m, and features a bulbous bow for increased efficiency and comfort when sailing. The additional width in comparison to the P130 offers potential owners more interior volume and possible layout options.
Six en suite cabins, providing accommodation for 12 guests, receive large amounts of natural light thanks to large panoramic windows. The master suite is located on the main deck, with the remaining guest suites located forward on the lower deck, and crew quarters situated aft of the engine room.
“We are ready to start construction, and have received a lot of interest in this model, but there is nothing concrete as of yet as to when we will commence building,” confirms Joanna Yang at Horizon’s marketing office.
