Heesen Yachts has announced the sale of their 51m full displacement motoryacht, Project Paloma (YN 16551).

Sold to an owner that is new to the industry, the motoryacht will have an aluminium superstructure and steel round-bilge hull, with her exterior lines designed by Frank Laupman from Omega Architects. Omega will also be designing the interior of Project Paloma. Van Oossanen and Heesen Yachts are the naval architects of the vessel, which is an evolution of Heesen's 50m displacement model.

"My design for this Heesen project is the logical development in design language following on from the lines of 'Man of Steel' and 'SKY',” commented Laupman. “We allocated a considerable amount of space to the exterior decks: the plan is strongly rational with an interesting inside-outside relationship."
