On day two of the Palm Beach International Boat Show, Fraser Yachts took the opportunity to introduce its new CEO, Raphael Sauleau.

“We have spent considerable time waiting for a candidate that we feel is fitting and adequate for the role”, said Roberto Giorgi, executive chairman of Fraser Yachts. “We wanted someone that is young and full of enthusiasm – someone that can push our industry forward with a better image – and we feel that Raphael is perfect for this role.”

“Client relationships are paramount – without clients there is no business. We need to attract more people in the younger generations to promote ourselves and move the company forward”, continued Giorgi.

Sauleau has a wealth of experience to his name. He worked for 15 years at VShips as director of crew operations, and later the cargo division, before moving to a family office in 2013 to work closely with UHNWIs in Monaco.

“Half of the achievement has already been made because it’s a wonderful team”, commented Sauleau. “I hope to strengthen our position in the market and continue to build upon the firm’s previous successes with new ideas.”

“Ensuring that our communication with the market is as good as it can be will be paramount moving forward. Attention to detail is very important in this industry – we’re in the luxury industry so we must strive for perfection”, continued Sauleau.

Sauleau will begin his role on 4 April, whilst Giorgi, who has worked alongside Sauleau for many years, will continue his role as chairman with a main focus of strengthening the management team.
