Fraser Yachts Europe unveils new commercial director

Fraser Yachts has unveiled Vassilis Fotilas as the new commercial director of Fraser Yachts. Fotilas, who has been promoted to the position, will oversee all European commercial activities whilst reporting to executive chairman, Roberto Giorgi.

Having completed military service in his native Greece, Vitalis began his career in brokerage as a Ferretti dealer before joining Fraser’s Monaco department as a sales broker under the tutelage of Richard Earp.

“I am excited to take on this new role and look forward to working closely with Robert, Mike Busacca in the US, and above all, our sales and charter brokers”, Fotilas said. “Fraser Yachts has done extremely well over the last few years in what has been a tough market. As the world’s leading brokerage house we now look to build further on our success.”

Commenting on the appointment, Giorgi said, “Vassilis has a holistic and current view of the market, with a solid knowledge base and diverse experience. With his insight and positive, dynamic attitude we are confident that he will be able to develop our commercial activities further in line with our current strategic plan.”

In addition to Vitalis’ appointment, Fraser has appointed Alessandra Nenci as the Monaco office’s business development manager. Having worked at Heesen, Perini Navi and Baglietto, Nenci will help to implement the company’s strategic plan in the context of global market performance.
