Piero Ferrari, deputy Chairman of Ferrari Spa, has joined Ferretti’s product strategy team, a new branch of the company geared towards analysing global market trends.

Son of Ferrari founder, Enzo Ferrari, Piero Ferrari has held several positions at the prestigious luxury car manufacturer where he is still the the Company’s deputy Chairman. An honorary degree holder in mechanical engineering, Mr Ferrari will be a crucial member of the newly established product strategy team at Ferretti Group, created to analyse global market trends. This is a major part of the Group’s brand and product strategies developed for each market.

His appointment was announced in Shanghai at the China International Boat Show, held by the Ferretti Gorup and concluding this Sunday, 14 April.

The Ferretti Group, which is 75% owned by Weichai Holding Group in China, chose Shanghai for the announcement in honour of its strong relationship with the country.
