Danish Yachts team up with MarQuip for Project 116

Danish Yachts has collaborated with MarQuip on Project 116 to implement an exhaust system for the 50 knot jet-driven AeroCruiser.

MarQuip, who specialise in bespoke exhaust systems, worked closely with Danish Yachts to design an exhaust that boosts the vessel’s performance. The partnership is set to ensure the AeroCrusiers’ reputation as the fastest series of superyachts in their class.


The underwater scoop, as an integrated part of the total back pressure control, was optimised for reduced drag and the system has been designed for efficient exhaust gas cooling and minimum vibration.

Project 116, designed by Espen Øino, is still to have a launch date confirmed.
