Taking place from 17 to 19 October in Mallorca, the 31st Pinmar Golf will bring the superyacht industry together for a few days of golf, socialising and charitable fundraising to celebrate the final edition of the longstanding event. While golf teams have reached full capacity, there is still availability to attend the grand finale with Social Player and Gala Dinner tickets.
The golf tournament will once again be hosted at Golf Son Gual, which provides a spectacular location and first-class facilities for golfers and non-golfers alike. Over the course of two days, 80 teams of competitive golfers will play a Texas Scramble format to battle it out for prizes such as best yacht team, best industry team, longest drive and nearest-the-pin. Golf legend Paul Lawrie OBE will be returning to the course to offer tips and advice to passing players.
Non-golfers can enjoy the social atmosphere of the clubhouse and relax on the expansive terrace with bar service and a DJ. The popular Social Player programme is on offer for non-regular golfers who want to participate in some light-hearted golf during the event. The putting competition and driving range clinic included in this package were a real success last year, with pros on hand to offer some handy coaching tips and advice to those keen to brush up on their putting and swing techniques. The social players can enjoy the same two days of networking, parties and black-tie Gala Dinner.
The Friday Night VIP Party will return to Cappuccino in Puerto Portals, giving attendees a chance to unwind after the golf with drinks, tapas and live entertainment. The Saturday morning Captains’ Brunch at Wellies restaurant in Puerto Portals will take on a rugby theme this year, as a quarter final of the Rugby World Cup will be hosted by top sports presenter Gabby Logan.
The Awlgrip black-tie Prize-giving Gala Dinner and after-party will once again be held at the beautiful Son Amar estate, hosted by Gabby and featuring a live show from the Son Amar cast and special guests. Pinmar has also promised to unveil their future event strategy on the night. Bringing down the final curtain on the grand finale will be 2manydjs, who return to headline the after-party after having gone down a storm at the 2016 event. It promises to be a memorable evening of entertainment to celebrate the 31-year heritage of this much-loved event.
