Claasen becomes newest Holland Yachting Group member

Claasen Shipyards has been confirmed as the newest member of the HISWA Holland Yachting Group, an umbrella organisation representing the interests of the Dutch yachting industry.
A Claasen statement read, In addition to offering a united voice for the leading superyacht companies, the Holland Yachting Group helps facilitate its members’ participation in the major boat shows. One of the immediate results of our new membership will be that Claasen Shipyards will exhibit at the Monaco Yacht Show this September in the renowned Dutch pavilion.
The accession to Holland Yachting Group is indicative of Claasen’s nascent status as a superyacht builder. The yard has already launched the J Class replica Lionheart II and the respected racer, Firefly. Currently in build are the 35.2m F-Class F-02, due to be launched in 2013, and a 38.5m Hoek-designed vessel, which will hit the water in 2015.
The Superyacht Group will be making its annual pilgrimage to Holland for the Yacht Valley Press Tour, taking place between 27 and 31 May. There will be coverage on both SuperyachtNews.com and in Issue 146 of The Superyacht Report.
