On 27 November, Marina Barcelona 92 learned of the passing of Jorge Ventosa Garí, chairman of the Spanish refit yard’s board of directors. Remembrance and condolences have been expressed by all directors, as well as gratitude for Mr. Ventosa’s significant contribution as the company’s founder.
It has since been announced that Director Pepe García-Aubert has been appointed as the new chairman of the board in order to fill the vacancy. Alejo Ventosa Albert has also been appointed as a new member of the board of directors.
