Since it was founded at the end of 2010, Sigmund Yacht Design has been busy expanding its portfolio and has recently announced the launch of its new interior design service, releasing new images of a VIP guest suite from its 112-metre Centurion concept. The studio has created a traditional style in contrast to the modern look of the exterior, launched at the 2010 Monaco Yacht Show, a decision made after feedback that the team received from the market. "Potential clients were really taken by the exterior but wanted a restrained, tasteful and elegant interior," explains Peter Sigmond.

The concept will be able to accommodate up to 14 guests and will have a steel hull and alloy superstructure. Capable of a top speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 22 knots when powered by twin 8710 MTU engines with propulsion pods.

Other concepts on the drawing board include Hercules, a 50-metre helicopter support vessel and Vestar, a 60-metre sailing yacht, due to be displayed at the various 2011 yacht shows.
