Camper & Nicholsons Marinas sign ten year operations contract with Hurghada Marina

Camper & Nicholsons Marinas (C&N), have added a further edition to their portfolio: Hurghada Marina in Egypt.

Owned by a group of Egyptian businessmen with 5 star hotel interests, the marina has 200 berths capable of accommodating vessels from 10-metres to 80-metres in length and is situated on the western coast of the Red Sea near the entrance to the Gulf of Suez.

The ten year operations contract will see Hurghada Marina undergo changes to ensure its service and facility levels meet the high standards of C&N’s customers.

In order to do this, C&N have appointed William Bowman as the new harbour manger. With 15 years of project management experience, Bowman will oversee the marina’s development, including the construction and fitting out of new washrooms, laundry and Capitainerie facilities with relaxation areas.

The marina covers an area of 120,000 sqm and includes waterfront bars and restaurants and 100 retail outlets. It joins C&N’s current locations in Malta, Italy, Turkey, Grenada, and two marinas under construction in Cyprus and St Kitts.

C&N will be exhibiting at this year’s Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (FLIBS) in the Superyacht UK pavilion, Yacht Builders & Designers Tent.
