Acquera Yachting has announced that it has been granted the commercial rights to manage the superyacht berths in Casamicciola Marina, as well as the sole helipad on Ischia Island. The marina, which opened in 2004, is located in the Gulf of Naples, a 15-minute flight from Capodichino Naples, and has 158 berths that can accommodate yachts up to 90m.

“It is a privilege for us to have awarded the management of the superyacht berths located at the marina and helipad,” comments Stefano Tositti, CEO of Acquera Yachting. “This is an important and tangible development for us, in a strategic area that is considered one of the most important in the Mediterranean.”

According to Acquera Yachting, the Island of Ischia and Casamicciola Marina provide an opportunity for superyacht owners and guests to explore alternative itineraries to the more well-known destinations around Capri and the Amalfi Coast.

The agreement signed with Marine del Golfo, is with a subsidiary of Acquer Yachting that will manage the berth an helipad. It is believed that the new development with strengthen Acquera Yachting’s position in the Gulf of Naples, where they have offices in both Naples and Marina di Stabia. As well as being a destination in itself, Ischia is being promoted as an ideal turnaround point for charter yachts, with guests able to fly to the island to start their charters. Acquera Yachting describes Ischia as being “one of the lesser known Mediterranean jewels,” with the volcanic island being “renowned for its beauty and thermal spas”.
