Call to all heads of industry...

From captains to brokers, managers to suppliers, the next GUEST Awareness Day in Amsterdam, the day after The Superyacht Forum, is one not to be missed…

The GUEST team and trainers are delighted to announce their next event, one of the landmark events of our calendar, a GUEST Awareness day for heads of industry, taking place on Friday 17th November at the facilities of the Miele Experience Centre in Vianen, near Amsterdam.

This day of GUEST workshops, provided by our experienced and passionate GUEST-approved trainers, will take place immediately after The Superyacht Forum. Attendees will benefit from an insight into the importance of training for the interior crew, so whether you are a captain or crewmember, a charter broker or a crew agent, a yacht manager or a supplier, a yacht builder or in any other position that involves yachting, this event is relevant to you!

Attendees from past events have been blown away by the facilities and professional training. They have been simply amazed at the sheer amount of knowledge a professional interior crewmember needs to acquire in what is often such a multi-facetted job, so as to carry out their duties in a confident manner. “The hospitality and hotel function of all yachts is the cornerstone of the owner and guests experience on board. It is essential that interior crew are capable of delivering a first-class service”, commented one of our past participants.

Snapshot sessions are targeted to high-profile superyacht industry professionals, with the intention to inspire excellence in the development of the interior departments on board yachts.

Showcasing luxury hospitality and service training in an insightful and educational environment, the “snapshot” sessions provided are intended as a taster to the full GUEST training programme. They are targeted to high-profile superyacht industry professionals, with the intention to inspire excellence in the development of the interior departments on board yachts.

The snapshot sessions are:

  • Etiquette, Communication & Personal Presentation
  • Food Safety
  • Table Service Techniques
  • Service Styles Professional Laundry - Ironing and Roller
  • Teambuilding

The day will include a delicious live lunch demonstrated by the talented Miele Chefs, and supplied by NEKO Yacht Supplies, with refreshments throughout the day provided at the Miele Coffee Bar.

Transport to and from the Miele venue will be provided, with a pick up from the RAI Convention Centre and drop off at both Schipol airport at 17:00 and back to the RAI.

Limited places are available and you must register to reserve your place here. Join us for a fun and interactive day to learn all about the benefits of the GUEST training program and its impact on our industry.
