The last edition of the most prestigious nautical show in the world, the Monaco Yacht Show, has been a success for IPM Group. Their participation, which comes from many years ago, had numerous novelties that made this call turned out to be one of the best.

With a stand of almost 60m2 shared by STP Shipyard Palma and Marina Ibiza as usual, Varadero Valencia, also company of the same group, was incorporated. The reason to allocate a space to this shipyard has been the increasing demand for large lenghts that this installation has been receiving the last years, as well as its consolidation in the market of refit and maintenance of superyachts

As a great novelty with regard to the show itself, it is worth mentioning the new location of the IPM Group stand in the central hall of Quai Albert 1er, a tent in which originally started the brand already many editions ago and which has returned after a couple of years away by the works of the port.

Taking advantage of this extraordinary location, IPM premiered the stand. It had a much more functional, more modern, luminous and attractive space thanks to the spectacular backlit images of the facilities and the Bay of Palma. And the functionality was planned on purpose so that all the Group's employees, among whom were many industrialists and brokers, had a meeting space and meetings with their clients and friends. For this, a warehouse was set up to deposit suitcases and promotional materials for all of them, and also incorporated different meeting places where they could attend to their commitments without missing a place to sit quietly with a snack.

Every day from 10am to 5pm, the stand registered a constant movement of visitors who requested information and services from both the shipyard and the marinas, getting close to important agreements, but it was from 5pm when the booth turned into a party thanks to the good music of the DJ who was playing in the contiguous space of Balearic Yacht Destination, project in which the IPM Group participates with Marina Ibiza and STP Shipyard Palma from its creation as a founding member.

Joan Rosselló, manager of STP Shipyard Palma, was present during the show and stated that "although in STP we have a very good forecast for the season that already begins, for us it is interesting to come to the Monaco Yacht Show because it is the moment in which it is an illusion to greet clients who, whether based in Monaco or simply participants of the show, have passed through our facilities and also to work hand in hand with our collaborators to attract new contacts in this sector of refit. This edition, moreover, has been especially successful, since very interesting agreements have been reached ".

On the other hand, Santiago Donat, Manager of Varadero Valencia commented that "it has been very interesting to participate for the first time in this show. It has been a source of new contacts fo rus, both at the level of potential customers and industrial customers with whom we are sure to reach interesting agreements".

For Daniel Marí, Manager of Marina Ibiza, "this show has always been the best showcase to transmit the characteristics and values of a high-level port as exclusive as Marina Ibiza."

And Patrick Reynes, CEO of IPM Group, believes that "attending the Monaco Yacht Show is the best way to tap the trajectory and trends of the nautical sector in general. Whether in the field of repair or marinas in general, our presence at this show provides us with a valuable insight into the customer's expectations and helps us to put ourselves in the spot that is marking the market. We have always gotten something good from this show; new ideas, new clients, expert opinions ... this is a very productive meeting point for us".

With these great results, IPM Group with STP Shipyard Palma, Marina Ibiza and Varadero Valencia are already preparing their disembarkation at the next show in Fort Lauderdale and in the next few days will begin to design the strategy for the next editions of the Monaco Yacht Show and the rest of national and international fairs in which it is usually present.
