Surrounded by the industry's top brokers, founding member, Kees van Vliet and current president, Fiona Maureso, the MYBA 30th birthday kicked off in style in Antibes on Saturday. With no shortage of champagne or gourmet food going around, the party provided the perfect opportunity for the brokerage community and beyond to come together and not only celebrate the milestone, but allow everyone time to ease into the pre Monaco Yacht Show madness in a relaxed environment.

Top brokers could not say enough about what positive things the group at MYBA does. Rupert Nelson, sales director at Burgess says he's proud to be a member. "I'm happy to have been involved since the early days and am proud to say I'm one of the original 20 to have joined". As for Van Vliet, it was a proud night for him considering where they started from. "We had no idea when we started the association where we would end up and I couldn't be prouder of everyone's hard work and dedication to our cause". The Superyacht Group were one of the sponsors happy to be involved, alongside ISA Yachts and Roni Fleurs.

The team pulled out all the stops including acrobats, fire breathers, whiskey sampling and no shortage of birthday cake. Happy birthday MYBA, here's to many more!
