This week Monaco will play host to the annual highlight of the superyacht industry calendar, the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). Starting 25 September and running until 28 September, the show will see 500 companies exhibit, with almost 30,000 visitors descending upon Port Hercule this year to do business and view the 100-odd yachts that are on display.

While the show is widely accepted by brokers to be one of the best ways for potential owners to get a taste of the industry and for existing owners to see what is new, it can be an overwhelming and exhausting experience. With this in mind, The Superyacht Owner is hosting The Superyacht Owner’s VIP Lounge at Virage, which will be an exclusive escape for owners and VIPs during the show.
