In Issue 8's article 'Reality Check', The Superyacht Owner looked at owner expectations of charter revenue, whether or not they are realistic and what elements make a charter success story. We asked Fraser Yachts to share a sample Mediterranean itinerary for one of their most successful charter yachts. They chose Four Wishes, cruising from Capri to Corsica.

Day One: Capri

After arriving on board Four Wishes at Naples, cruise to a sheltered bay to enjoy lunch on board, followed by water activities and exploring the coastline of Capri, including the Blue Grotto for the afternoon. Early evening depart the anchorage for Capri to spend the evening exploring the town and shops of Capri. Dock overnight here.

Day Two: Positano

Depart Capri in the morning for Positano and enjoy the morning ashore here. Take lunch at San Pietro restaurant or take tour of Pompeii and then spend the remainder for the day relaxing on board or in the water. Anchor overnight at Positano.

Day Three: Ischina

Depart dock in the morning for the Island of Ischia. Anchor on the southern side of Ischia at Sant’Angelo and have lunch ashore at Neptunus, a restaurant that has a very traditional Italian island cuisine and atmosphere. Depart for Lecco Ameno Marina at Ischia in the late afternoon and explore the island in the evening. Overnight here.

Day Four: Ponza

Depart the dock early in the morning for the island of Ponza and spend the day exploring the island and taking part in water activities. Leave the island of Ponza that night to cruise overnight to Sardinia.

Day Five: Porto Cervo

Arrive in Sardinia around midday to anchor in time for lunch and water activities for the day. In the evening depart the anchorage for the Porto Cervo, where guests can dine ashore and venture to the famed Billionaire’s Club nightclub if they wish.

Day Six: Bonifacio

After a morning of exploring the town of Porto Cervo, depart the dock for the island of Cala Santa Maria, a marine reserve area that is spectacular for swimming. Depart Cala Santa for Bonifacio, Corsica. The evening cruise into Bonifacio is particularly beautiful, surrounded by stunning and awe-inspiring cliffs. Overnight in Bonifacio.

Day Seven: Porto Rotondo

Leave Bonifacio in the morning to head for the island of Maddalena for water activities in the marine reserve for the day. Eventually depart the anchorage for Cala di Volpe where guests may enjoy lunch ashore at the Cala di Volpe Hotel or relax on board for the afternoon before departing for Porto Rotondo. Spend the evening exploring the town and shops in Porto Rotondo and dock here for the night.

Day Eight: Porto Rotondo

Enjoy a final morning of water activities, relaxing and exploring Porto Rotondo for the morning. After lunch on the sundeck, depart the vessel for Olbia airport.
