Imperial Yachts is enjoying a hot streak with its third superyacht sale inside 20 days. On 20 November, the brokerage firm sold 60m M/Y Event, on 30 November it sold 60m M/Y Arkley, and on 9 December it sold the Sunseeker Predator 115 (34.53m) M/Y Arabella for an undisclosed selling price, with Luca Gianardi from KK Superyachts introducing the buyer. Arabella made an appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show this year at anchor, whilst the other two sales, Arkley and Event, were side-by-side in Port Hercules.
Arabella was originally built for a European owner and is one of 10 superyachts delivered by the UK-based shipyard in 2012. The Predator 115 series is built for performance; the composite hull and superstructure are both a lightweight and durable design. She is fitted with twin MTU diesel engines with a fuel capacity of 19,500 litres, which permits a maximum speed of 25 knots and a 1,250 nautical mile range at her cruising speed of 10-12 knots.

After a very slow start to the year, November saw an upturn in the number of re-sales, with 21 sales completed. Three of which were in the 60m+ segment: 67m Aquarius, 60m Arkley and 60m Event.
As a reference, The Superyacht Intelligence Agency’s data shows that between 2011 and 2014, there had been between nine and 15 sales in November. Contrastingly, in the same time period, December has shown significant fluctuations with between 11 and 27 sales.
