Sunrise launches 'Irimari'

Sunrise Yachts has launched the first yacht of the 63 series, M/Y 'Irimari'.…

Sunrise Yachts has launched the first of the Sunrise 63 Series after 30 months of construction from its facility in Antalya, Turkey. At the launch, Irimari was lifted by two 700-tonne cranes from the heavy-lifter ship HHL Valparaiso.

Designed by Espen Oeino and with naval architecture completed by Unique Yacht Design, she is a full-displacement yacht with a hi-tensile steel hull and aluminum superstructure. At 1,463gt, Irimari is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots with a range of 5,000nm.

Although most of the dock and system trials have already been performed, the 63m yacht will remain in the construction shed for the next two months for her final fit-out.

Irimari will be delivered to her owners for the summer season and will debut at the Monaco Yacht Show this September.
