'Atomic' delivered to owner

Sunrise Yachts' 'Atomic', sister ship of 'Africa', has been delivered to her new owner.…

Atomic, the 45m sister ship to Africa has been delivered to her North American owner by Turkish builder, Sunrise Yachts.

Guillaume Roché, Sunrise Yachts CEO, stated: “Just like M/Y Africa was one of the ‘star’ yachts when introduced at the Monaco Yacht Show, we are confident that the new 45m will be one of the most notable yachts delivered worldwide this year in its category. We believe that the yacht further demonstrates our commitment to excellence and to continually improving our standards while remaining a competitive alternative to quality European builders.”

The Studio Scanu designed vessel is comprised of a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and features three decks within its 499GT volume. The interior is the work of Franck Darnet Design, who also worked on Africa, and is characterised by light veneers and a bright, modern colour scheme.

Atomic will be on display at the forthcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
