Only 3 months after the delivery of SW 82 #02 Grande Orazio, Southern Wind Shipyard is proud to announce the launch of Farfalla, third of the SW 102’ miniseries.

The launch took place on May 5 in Cape Town commercial harbor in the presence of the owner and his family.

Farfalla
is the first Raised Saloon version of the SW 102.

Elegant lines feature 270 degree panoramic windows allowing ample light in the saloon. The yacht has been designed by Nauta Yacht Design for the general design, deck and interior design and Farr Yacht Design for the naval architecture, sail plan and appendages.

Notable features of Farfalla, which will make her the ideal charter yacht, include a spacious flush deck, a tender garage for a 4 meters dinghy and a mainsail captive winch.

The yacht interior follows Southern Wind Shipyard’s most popular lay-out, with Owner’s cabin forward, three guest cabins amid ship and crew quarters aft. Farfalla will leave Cape Town at the end of June and will be available for charter from Summer 2014.
