Sanlorenzo has launched the first vessel in its SD112 line of semi-displacement superyachts. The fully composite 33.6m O hit the water in front of her Latin American owner and his family and friends.
The SD112 line was conceived by Sanlorenzo to complement its existing 28m and 38m composite models and has been two years in the making. Six hulls have already been sold, with the next three SD112s nearing completion.
In a statement to the media, Sanlorenzo said, ‘Though maintaining the unmistakeable features of the SD range, such as the curved doors on the sides and the lateral window shape, the SD112 offers innovative solutions like the foldable terraces in the salon area that open out seawards and a door that connects the huge cockpit to the salon and, once completely opened, creates one unique living area between outdoors and indoors.’
O features a focal sundeck space with large Jacuzzi encompassed by sunbeds. Inside the themes are ‘modern’ and ‘Made in Italy’ with brands on board including Edra, Minotti, Paola Lenti, Enzo degli Angioni and Penelope Oggi. The owner’s suite is located forward on the main deck, with the lower deck accommodating four guest cabins and seven crew.
