Vos Marine shipyard, based in Antalya, Turkey, has announced the launch of 40m Project Xamura. Now christened Moss, the sailing yacht hit the water on 11 May and is due to be delivered shortly.

Moss is a steel-hulled ketch, which features naval architecture by Paolo Scanu and interior design by Emrah Keser. The project itself was managed by project manager Bora Paltaoglu.

The yacht is equipped with a single 455kW Cummins QSM11 engine and can deliver a maximum cruising range of 1,400 nautical miles at a speed of 9 knots. The superyacht is due to attend the forthcoming Cannes boat show.

Sailing yacht Moss is currently available for charter, where the price starts from 45,000 euros per week. The yacht is also for sale, with an asking price of 5,750,000 euros.

So far, the Turkish shipyard has delivered one 47m motoryacht - in 2015. Apart from sailing yacht Moss, Vos Marine has another 63m superyacht in build, due to deliver in 2017.
