Pendennis has announced the signing for a new build 31.3m aluminium sloop, to be designed by Dubois Naval Architects.

Project ‘Design 382’ will have comfortable and spacious accommodation across three staterooms. She will have a ‘sleek’ profile and powerful sail plan.

Her fixed bulb keel, submarine anchors and a carbon rudder blade are in keeping with a minimalist design both above and below the waterline.

The carbon-fibre rig will be strong and lightweight, with fixed genoa and balde stays and a removable staysail.

A raised saloon with separate seating and dining areas will provide the views through a central ‘sweep of glass’, and forward, a lower-saloon seating lies opposite an office area and navigator's station.

‘Design 382’ is the ninth Dubois design to be built at Pendennis.
