The 38m Perini Navi build P2 has been sold, with Perini Navi USA’s Bruce Brakenhoff Jnr. representing the buyer and the seller in the transaction. The sailing yacht’s price at the time of her sale was $9.9 million.

Since her delivery in 2008, P2 has been a highly respected racer on the superyacht regatta circuit, claiming a podium finish in almost every competition she has participated in.

P2 features the design and naval architecture of Philippe Briand. The French studio has a diverse portfolio, with designs ranging from high performance cruisers such as 44.7m Mari Cha III and 42.3m Mari Cha IV, to cup-winning designs and the Swiss and French America’s Cup team designs. Furthermore, Briand’s past and current projects include the Vitruvius designs.

P2 has a refined and comfortable interior that is able to accommodate six guests over one double cabin and two twin cabins.

“We’re delighted for the successful sale of P2 and it confirms the value of the Perini Navi product and brand. We’re also very proud of the trust that the original and new owners put in us”, commented Brakenhoff Jnr.

Under her new ownership, P2 will be taking part in the Caribbean regatta season, attending the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and the St. Barths bucket.
