Oceanco has recently announced the successful launch of 85m M/Y 'Y710' in Alblasserdam, Netherlands.

'Y710' has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure which hold two VIP suits, four guest cabins and a master suite, which extends out onto a private deck with a whirlpool. With two 3,600kW MTU engines she is able to reach speeds of 18.5knots. Espen Oeino designed her exterior with naval architecture completed by Oceanco and Azure.

She follows on from the delivery of Equanimity; the 91.5m, which marked the first superyacht designed and built to be fully Passenger Code compliant (PYC).

The Oceanco shipyard in Alblasserdam was part of the 2014 HISWA press tour, which The Superyacht Report's Rebecca Curran and William Mathieson attended. You can read more about the tour and view Oceanco’s current order book in issue 156 of The Superyacht Report.

Further information on Y710 remains confidential.
