Moran and Lürssen team up again on Project Palo Alto

The 112m Project Palo Alto is to be built by Lürssen in time for Spring 2018.…

Brokerage and management company, Moran Yacht & Ship is to renew its hugely successful partnership with Lürssen and Andrew Winch on a 112m new build, Project Palo Alto.

Palo Alto has been commissioned by a long-time Moran charter client, who has chartered a number of substantial superyachts over a seven-year period. Consequently, the owner has played an ‘intense’ role in the vessel’s design, which comprises two helipads, a 12m swimming pool, a spa, and ‘palatial staircases’. The tender garage can accommodate two 13m tenders, a submarine and plenty of toys.

The owner’s quarters will comprise an entire deck, with 11 other guest staterooms located throughout the yacht, accommodating 22 guests.

The project will also be managed by Moran’s new build team of Simon England, Patrick Foy, Derek Munroe, Ian Wetherill, Sean Moran, Paul Moran and Robert Moran. She will be launched in Spring 2018.
