The 45.7m motoryacht Carpe Diem II is now for sale with Frank Grzeszczak, Frank Grzeszczak, Jr. and Katya Jaimes of IYC. She is currently located in Miami and has been listed with an asking price of $14,449,000.
Carpe Diem II is built entirely of aluminium by US shipyard Trinity Yachts and was delivered in 2002. The naval architecture and exterior design is the work of the yard, and the interior design is product of renowned designer Carol Williamson, whose use of traditional mahogany makes for an immaculate interior, complimented by comfortable, contemporary furnishings, soft goods and impressive lighting features.

She is able to accommodate eight guests over four staterooms, comprising a full-beam master suite on deck, and three double staterooms, of which two are mid-ship and offer the flexibility of joining.
In 2015 she underwent a €1.5 million refit. The work included all new interior furnishings, carpets, wall-coverings, headliners and a new galley with state-of-the-art appliances. Also included were exterior cushion covers and a marble countertop on the aft. deck.
Carpe Diem II's delivery in 2002 was during a strong period of new build motoryacht production for the US, with just over a quarter of the global fleet at this point. The Superyacht Intelligence Annual Report shows that the 19 active US yards managed to muster just 9 deliveries (M/Y & S/Y) between them in 2015 and the US' share of motoryacht new build activity now stands at a reduced 18.5 per cent of the global fleet (see below).
