Gulf Craft launches Majesty 155
Gulf Craft has announced the launch of its 47m Majesty 155, the shipyard's largest superyacht build to date.…
At the 2013 Monaco Yacht Show, Gulf Craft’s CEO Erwin Bamps held a press conference to reveal the interior design of the Majesty 155, which has now been launched at its facilities.
At 47m, the Majesty 155 is the largest superyacht to come from the Dubai-based shipyard and represents a leap forward in engineering complexity, design solutions and workmanship capabilities. The Majesty line adds to Gulf Craft's existing range of vessels which include Nomad Yachts, Oryx and Silvercraft brands, and expands its presence in the superyacht market.
“Today, customers are looking for a greater capacity to entertain, from more onboard living space, to larger galleys, and expansive lounging areas,” says Bamps. “They are looking for privacy and the ability to spend quality time with family, friends, or business colleagues, but at the same time desire to experience the splendor of living on the water.”
The 47m offers accommodation for 12 guests across two double and two twin en suite cabins amidships on the lower deck with another twin cabin on the starboard side on the main deck. Forward of this is a full-beam master suite finished in a mixture of fabrics, leathers and marble. Aft is the main salon and dining area, which can seat 12 with al fresco dining located aft of this deck. The upper deck includes a skylounge connected to another al fresco dining area aft, with the bridge and captain’s office and cabin located forward. The sundeck features a bar and Jacuzzi along with sunbeds and open seating.
The Majesty 155 promotes fuel efficiency and is powered by twin 1,499kW MTU 12V 4,000 M63 engines, offering a range of over 4,000nm and a top speed of 16 knots.
