A 69m supporting vessel with heli hangar has been sold. The project is under construction and is a result of the cooperation between Damen Shipyard and Amels Holland. The two companies started to work together on the new concept in 2009.

The new Sea Axe 6911 is the first in the range to feature a fully enclosed hangar beneath the LY3 / MCA fully certified helideck. The supporting vessel also includes a helicopter workshop below deck and a well-equipped dive centre. It is also characterised by deck space of 250 square metres for toys and tenders and below deck storage of 110 square metres.

The vessel can accommodate 22 crew and staff and reaches a cruising speed of 20 knots.
