First Custom line 108 launched
Italian shipyard, Custom Line has launched its first Custom line 108 yacht …
On the 30 July, the first Custom Line 108, was launched in La Spezia, Italy. The new Custom Line 108 is a maxi yacht and features a full planing hull. The fitting-out operations and interior design are expected to be completed in the next few days. Custom line 108 will also undergo a full hull performance trial, led by the engineering department at the shipyard.
The yacht is expected to be delivered to her European owner, once all the technical operations are completed. The shipyard has confirmed that they have started the construction of three other projects, which are a part of the Custom Line 108 model series.

The new Custom Line 108 is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M94 Mhp engines, which allow her to reach a maximum speed of 26 knots. The yacht is also characterised with significantly limited consumption as she will reach 1,000nm at an economical cruising speed of 12 knots.
'We are looking forward to officially presenting the new yacht next September at the premiere devoted to our owners, in Monaco, then during the Cannes Yachting Festival", the Ferretti Group's CCO, Stefano de Vivo explained in a press release.

Over the last seven years, Custom Line has had a fluctuating position in the market in terms of launches. However, since 2013 a steady growth can be seen with the number of yachts launched showing a significant increase in 2015.
