Italian shipyard CRN has signed a new contract for the construction of the 50m superyacht Superconero. The displacement yacht is to be built at the same time as four other projects currently under construction at CRN in Ancona, including the 55m yacht Atlante, which was launched in May, 46m Eight, CRN’s first refit project, 74m CRN 131 and the 77m CRN 135.
Zuccon International Project designed Superconero 50 in collaboration with CRN. She is equipped with unfolding balconies that can be used during cruising, an unfolding sea terrace and a large beach club. Also on board is a floodable tender dock suitable for a WJ tender of 6m x 2.4m.
In a statement to the media, Lamberto Tacoli commented, “The Superconero line and the 50m projects we have conceived over the last few years with Zuccon International Project will enable CRN to offer high-quality yachts, which is also thanks to the experience the Shipyard has gained on previously built 70 and 80-metre vessels. I am sure our customers will appreciate these new lines and everything they hold within".
The Superconero has a range of 3,800nm at 11 knots, with twin CAT C32 engines with 1193kW of power.
