Turkish superyacht builder, Bilgin Yachts has announced that the second Bilgin 160 classic, with an LOA of 48.7m, has been delivered to her new owner and christened Clarity. In order to promote her to the market, the decision was made last July to perform extensive changes to the original project, which was much the same as Clarity’s sister ship, Timeless.
The changes to Clarity, began last October with the extension of the forward master cabin by 3.5m and the crew quarters, which were moved from the forward lower deck to the aft lower deck. Aesthetical changes were also made to the main saloon. Clarity is now a five-cabin yacht, as opposed to the original 6-cabin layout. As a result of these changes, Clarity was sold in April, when she was 85 per cent completed.
According to the shipyard, these changes are also applicable to Timeless, which can be completed in ten months, costing approximately two million Euros. She is currently available for sale.
Clarity is the 28th delivery of the year, of which all but three are motoryachts. This leaves 377 superyachts in the global order book, 48 of which are under construction in Turkey.
Clarity will be on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boatshow. She will be transported via cargo ship from Tuzla to the United States
