Wahoo Ribs will be inviting interested parties aboard its flagship LX 600 superyacht tender for sea trials at the forthcoming Monaco Yacht Show.

This twin outboard Mercury Verado 300 engine-powered RIB is the second largest in the Wahoo range and can be ordered at 7m to 11.5m. She is capable of approximately 70 knots and has a range of 240nm, thanks to the 240 litres of fuel carried on board. With a displacement of 2.67 tonnes and a draft of 0.45m, the LX 600 can accommodate 12 passengers.

“Our presence at Monaco is in association with Burgess, for whom we provide a taxi service to take clients out to yachts anchored in the bay”, explained Wahoo’s marketing director, Nick Band. Guests will be escorted across the port in the LX 600 and its single engine sister ship, the SX 350.

At this year’s show Wahoo will also be placing a heavy emphasis on the marketing of its two newest vessels – the SOLAS-compliant SP 450, which despite its 35 knot speed and 12-person capacity, can be classed as a life raft for regulatory compliance purposes – and The Shadow, “the all new limousine which we are hoping to secure an order on”, Band explained.  The Shadow can be constructed up to 10.6m, carrying a maximum of 14 guests.
