What is the product?
It is steps to the transom door that automatically fold out and stow away as the door opens or closes.
How did you hear about the product?
We needed an alternative custom solution so we came up with a rough idea and asked Branagh Marine Composites and Vc Metalwork collectively to refine the idea and turn it into a workable solution
How did you get hold of the product?
It was designed and built in the workshops of both companies and delivered and installed by them both on board.
How easy was the installation and application of the product?
Being a custom-built, one-off product, it had its issues with both installation and application but both companies stayed committed and ironed out the teething problems until we had a good product.
Have you got any recommendations for the product's improvement?
It is a complex design and, as these things go, there is always something you can learn the first time you design something new. The fact of the matter is the end result is an excellent, functional product built to the requirement standard for us and the superyacht industry, with after-sales service to support it.
Would you recommend the product to your industry colleagues?
I most definitely will.
